ScarWork Therapy

Scar tissue can cause significant mobilization limitations, result in muscle atrophy, interfere with organ function and cause pain. This soft touch therapy is highly specialized, incredibly effective, and the results are instantaneous and permanent.
ScarWork Therapy is a completely novel way of freeing tissue and restoring whole body function from surgical scars and impact trauma. No scar is too old to change and the treatment is painless.
Safe and effective for cancer related surgeries, lipo, tummy tuck, back/neck surgeries, etc.
In the case of breast reconstruction, please try to book prior to radiation, if possible.
Typically four to eight sessions are needed to complete the work.

Oncology Massage is a safe and highly individualized therapy designed to meet the unique needs of individuals in treatment for cancer or with a history of cancer. Restorative, nurturing, and gentle touch can help alleviate joint and muscle pain, reduce fatigue, and replenish skin.
I am a preferred practitioner of the Society for Oncology Massage.
